Local Area Protective Services (LAPS) was founded in 1993 and was incorporated as a private company in 1994. Since the inception of LAPS, our ethos has always been to provide a quality, reliable range of security products that meet or exceed our customers expectations.

We love the idea of “Target Hardening” so much that we provide perimeter physical security products, such as bollards and gates to stop and deter unauthorised forced entry. Once inside your premises, our electronic security expertise allows us to plan and fulfil any security concerns you may have and provide a comprehensive range of detection systems, access control and back to base monitoring to provide your family or staff peace of mind.
Our electronic security services include; Commercial & domestic Alarm Systems, Back to Base IP Monitoring, Access Control & Intercom Systems, IP CCTV Surveillance Systems. All electronic security services are provided across Sydney Metro and Greater Sydney areas.
Nationally we have the ability to supply and install LAPS Impact security bollards & bicycle parking solutions. We currently service Sydney, Victoria, Queensland, Adelaide, Perth and Northern Territory.
