The Electra 300 series power enclosure bollards are designed for use with Clipsal 56 series switch gear & are supplied with a galvanised pre-punched mounting plate to take 2,4,6 & 8 standard mounting enclosures. The backing plate measures 195mm Wide x 450mm Height – If you require additional space, we have the Electra two door model (ELE302B) which will double the capacity by adding a second door below the upper door.
On installations where water is required we recommend specifying the two door model, we recommend specifying a 1/4 turn tap be used.
When specifying the two door model, let us know your preferred configuration Power/Power or Power/Water.
All power / water accessories are not included & must be installed / supplied by your electrical contractor / end user.
We now also manufacture the vandal door design with a small triangular 50×50 cutout. Ideal for public installations such as skate parks. (request the vandal doors when ordering if you require this option)
Electrical installation must be carried out by a licensed electrical contractor, to comply with SAA wiring rules (AS3000) & any additional requirements of statutory authorities in your state or territory.
Most commonly installed in outdoor parks, civic plaza’s, outdoor area’s at sporting complexes, golf courses, farmers markets and local council markets in general. The basic need to have power, water or both distributed from the bollard is met . Power and water distribution can be secured both when in use and not in use. The doors on the bollard have a small gap on the underside so users can unlock the door, plug in for power for example and lock the door. There is a rubber seal which helps prevent water ingress. This is an important security and safety requirement.
If this bollard is being installed in close proximity (2km) to sea water, we recommend supplying these in a hot dip galvanised finish instead of powdercoating finish. (please specify this when ordering – Code: HDG300)
The standard powdercoating colours are Black satin, green or yellow
